Halfway to Europe

Brisbane 🇦🇺- Shanghai 🇨🇳✅
Shanghai🇨🇳 - Geneva 🇨🇭✅
Geneva🇨🇭 - London🇬🇧 - Milan🇮🇹 to come

Well, so far so good!  The two longest legs of the journey complete.  (30hrs down). Satisfied with my first experience with China Eastern airline.  Very good legroom, departed exactly on time for both flights.  Crew friendliness/smiles  hit and miss but efficient and helpful if asked, food simple but tasty (cottage pie was good, beef noodles good too) entertainment limited to lots of Chinese content and some B Grade International movies which kept me entertained, 10 mins free on board wifi per flight.
Baggage made it and is now collected.  I was fortunate enough to have a window seat and ended up with 3 seats to myself for both flights.  Was able to lie down fairly comfortably for hours.
Confirming that I still have not developed the “Sleep on a plane” super power 🙄
My bargain $693 return ticket for the win!  .

Now in Geneva - collected my bag, exited the airport for some fresh crisp 5 degrees air and a stretch for 10 mins before back inside to check in for my next series of flights.  Earlier this week I managed to secure frequent flyer seats last minute to Milan and when I went to book, business class points flight were 1000 points cheaper!  I don't understand why but clicked purchase before it vanished. Blessed indeed!
Airport shopping options chalk and cheese between Shanghai and Geneva!  I love that about travelling 😊
So, I am now in the small British Airways lounge for an hour before heading to the departure gate.  Am hoping for a shower in the lounge in the short time I have in London!

I'm in Europe ✅ 🇨🇭 and Milan🇮🇹  is only a hop, skip and several jumps away 😊
